John Bishop is bringing a special night of stand up comedy to the St Helens Comedy Festival.

Like all good things the show will have two halves: the first half of the show will be John doing what he does best -  top notch stand up which made tickets for his recent UK tour so hard to come by.

In the second half he will extol the virtues of Liverpool and its surrounding areas in his new show, John Bishop Cultural Ambassador, (which debuts at the Edinburgh Festival this summer) and will reach out to anyone from outside of his home town.
